Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This policy explains what we do with information you give us. It is written to be read. If anything here is unclear, emailequineiridologyschool@gmail.com and ask.

Who we are

Ellen Collinson Equine Iridology, based in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. For UK data protection purposes we are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

  • When you enrol or order a report: you pay on Stripe's own checkout page, not ours, so your name, email address and billing details are given directly to Stripe. We receive that information from Stripe once payment completes.
  • When you order a report: Stripe's checkout page also asks, optionally, for your horse's name and age and what has been troubling you. Photographs are sent separately, by email, once you have ordered.
  • When you use the assistant: the messages you type. These are sent to our AI provider in order to generate a reply. Please do not type anything sensitive into the chat.
  • When you browse: nothing. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely byStripe, our payment processor, on Stripe's own secure page. Card numbers do not pass through our systems at any point. Stripe processes your name, email, billing address and payment details as an independent data controller underStripe's own privacy policy.

Why we hold it

To teach you, to write your report, and to answer your questions. We use your email address to send you course material and to reply to you. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

Photographs of your horse

Images you send are used to produce your analysis. We will not publish a photograph of your horse, use it as a teaching example, or show it to anyone outside the school without asking you first and getting a clear yes.

How long we keep it

Student records are kept for as long as you remain on the register of practitioners. Report records and photographs are kept for three years, so that we can refer back if you return with the same horse. You can ask us to delete either at any point.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Emailequineiridologyschool@gmail.com and we will action it within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
