These terms apply when you enrol on the diploma or order an iris analysis. Please read the scope-of-practice section in particular. It is the most important part.

Scope of practice

Equine iridology is a complementary assessment. It is not a diagnostic procedure and it does not replace veterinary examination, diagnosis or treatment.

An iris analysis indicates constitutional tendency and areas of tissue stress. It does not identify disease. Nothing we provide, whether reports, course material, or replies from the site's assistant, constitutes veterinary advice. If your horse is unwell, injured or in distress, your first call must be to a veterinary surgeon.

Equine iridology is not a statutorily regulated profession in the United Kingdom. The diploma is awarded by this school and is not a state-recognised or degree-level qualification. We state this plainly so that nobody enrols under a misapprehension.

How you pay

Payments are handled by Stripe, on Stripe's own secure payment page. We never see or store your card details. If you choose the instalment plan, Stripe bills you automatically each month; the fifth payment is the last one, and the plan then ends on its own without any action from you.

The diploma

• The fee is £1,500, payable in full or as five monthly payments of £300.
• You receive full access to the material from your first payment.
• There is no completion deadline. Course material remains available to you indefinitely.
• The diploma is awarded on successful completion of the written papers and five assessed case studies. Submission does not guarantee a pass.
• Course material is provided for your own study. Please do not copy, resell or teach it as your own.

Refunds on the diploma

The diploma fee is not refundable once you have been given access to the course material. The material is delivered in full at the point of enrolment, so from that moment you have it.

Iris analysis reports

• A report costs £70 and covers one horse.
• We need clear, well-lit photographs of both eyes. If your images are not usable we will ask for another set at no extra cost.
• Reports are typically returned within five working days of receiving usable photographs.
• Because a report is a bespoke piece of work, it is non-refundable once written. If you have not yet sent photographs, you may cancel for a full refund.
• Any herbal, feeding or management recommendation is a suggestion for you to consider, ideally in discussion with your vet. You remain responsible for decisions about your horse.

Liability

We take care over our work, but we cannot accept liability for decisions you take about your horse's management, feeding or treatment on the basis of a report or of course material. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The site assistant

The assistant on this site is an AI tool. It can be wrong. It does not give veterinary advice, and nothing it says forms part of a contract. Where accuracy matters, confirm with Michaela directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
